Your teaching life, kept.
You’ll remember
being a teacher.
Keep what
it felt like.
The laugh you couldn’t stop. The little breakthrough. The words that made a difficult week worthwhile.
Chalkmarks is a private app for keeping those moments—and rediscovering them when the details have started to fade.

than “I can’t quite remember.”
You know the moments.
You remember that they said something lovely.
You wish you remembered the words.
Another lesson starts. Another term passes. The card goes into a drawer. You don’t mean to forget. There’s just so much to carry.
You don’t have to keep everything.
Just the little things you’d like to find again.
A little place for what mattered
Keep it now.
Feel it again later.
A few words about what happened. A photograph of a note. Something from an ordinary day that you’d like to remember.
And later… Chalkmarks can bring an older memory back. A small reminder of a day you might otherwise have forgotten.
No daily requirement. No streaks. Your memories aren’t public posts.

The current beta may look different.
Help us get it right
Something for teachers.
Better with your help.
You don’t need to be technical. We need teachers who’ll tell us what feels useful, what’s confusing and what could be better.
What we’re asking
- Try keeping a few moments over about two weeks, whenever something feels worth saving.
- Let us know what worked and what didn’t in a short feedback email.
- Tell us if something breaks. It’s an early version, and your honesty helps.
You don’t have to share your private memories to give feedback. There’s no daily task or obligation to continue.
A small beginning
There’s a moment
you’re thinking of.
Give the next one
a place to stay.

A few things you might be wondering
Before you join
Do I need to live in Jersey?
No. The Chalkmarks beta is open to teachers worldwide. Wherever you teach, you can register for a place. You need to be aged 18 or over and have access to an iPhone. Places are limited. Sign up to get the TestFlight invitation link; TestFlight confirms availability.
Is the beta free?
Yes. There’s no charge to take part in this beta. That doesn’t promise that every part of the finished app will always be free.
Do I need an iPhone?
The current beta requires an iPhone. Without one, you can still register interest for future testing opportunities. We aren’t promising an Android release date.
What is TestFlight?
TestFlight is Apple’s app for trying early versions of apps. After successful signup, iPhone users get the invitation link and installation instructions on this page. If TestFlight says the beta is full or unavailable, your interest is already saved.
Are my memories private?
Chalkmarks is a private memory app, not a public feed. Your memories aren’t posted for other teachers to see. Read the privacy notice for how your information is handled.
Can I save pupil names or photographs?
Please avoid pupil names, identifiable pupil photographs and other identifying details. Save your experience of a moment, not a pupil record. Remove identifying information from any note you photograph. Chalkmarks isn’t a school record or safeguarding system.
What happens after testing?
We’ll use feedback to improve Chalkmarks and explain next steps as the beta develops. Access and features may change during testing. Read the beta terms, and keep original copies of treasured cards and photos.
Can I withdraw my registration?
Yes. Email support@chalkmarks.app to withdraw your interest or ask a question.
You put so much of yourself into teaching.
Keep a little of what it gives back.
