Support for Chalkmarks

For a problem with your account, a missing memory or a privacy request, contact Cal directly.

Closed beta support

Teachers worldwide can sign up for the beta. After successful signup, iPhone users get the TestFlight invitation link and installation instructions. TestFlight confirms availability.

Email support

Opens your default email app if one is configured. You can also write directly to support@chalkmarks.app. There is no support form on this page.

Things to report promptly

  • A saved entry appears to be missing, or saving repeatedly fails.
  • You cannot access your account.
  • You see another person's information or discover you uploaded unsuitable information.
  • You have a privacy or security concern.

If you see someone else's information, stop using the app and tell us without copying, photographing or forwarding it. If an entry appears missing, avoid uninstalling the app or repeatedly deleting and recreating the entry while we check whether it is still on your device.

Safeguarding concerns should go through your normal school procedures immediately. This inbox is not an emergency or safeguarding service.

What helps us investigate

A brief description of what you were doing and what happened, the approximate time, your iPhone and iOS version, and the Chalkmarks build number if you know it. You do not need to reproduce a problem yourself.

Please do not email saved memory text, identifiable pupils, sensitive school details, passwords or sign-in links. Only send a screenshot if it contains none of those details. A description is enough.

Privacy and account requests

Use support@chalkmarks.app for access, correction, export, photo retrieval or account-deletion requests. A separate in-app Delete account action requests full account deletion. Permanently delete your archive is archive-only and does not delete your sign-in account. Contact support if the in-app process does not complete as expected or you cannot access your account. We may check that a request comes from the account holder.

Archive export provides JSON data and photo references; it does not bundle original photo files. Keep your own originals.
